Maybe it is a sign of the times, a verification that humanity is on a rapid pace of evolution towards an overall state of higher consciousness. NFL football players have had “Choose Love” statements on the back of their helmets for the past five-plus years, and no one could have see that one coming ten years ago. Professional hockey has less bare-knuckle fist fights, and women’s sports leagues and female celebrity athletes are on the rise.
But when a horse named Sovereignty won the Kentucky Deby with 7-1 odds this past Saturday, May 3, 2025, it might have channeled in an even higher vibration into the human sports consciousness and our overall matrix in general.
We all need spiritual and motivational ideals to help focus our compass of growth and development to higher states of achievement. When we focus our internal attention on “unconditional love” or “higher consciousness” it triggers our operating system to gravitate towards those energies in ourselves, others and wherever we may encounter them in the “outside” world. The attention we give to attaining higher states of being creates the pathways that we then move along on our journey of evolution.
And the concept of “Sovereignty” is one of the most powerful ideals we can focus our attention on to catalyze our growth toward higher consciousness.
Sovereignty implies that you, me, and all beings in the Universe / Multi-verse (or whatever you call this place) are individual fragments of Source Consciousness, the underlying Beingness of All There Is. At our deepest level, we are not subservient to any other beings, we are the Universe Itself In Action. We are all free to choose whatever course of action we deem appropriate for the evolution of our soul and its journey through eternity.
Compared to how we are taught to behave in this earth-human matrix where we currently reside, the notion of Sovereignty is an advanced, next-level teaching.
That’s because we have been conditioned and programmed in every way to consider ourselves helpless victims of circumstance surrounded by harsh consequences that can come down on our heads if we step out of line. From our earliest days, we learn to follow orders and do what we’re told, or things aren’t going to work out well for us. Reality is harsh and can inflict multiple types of pain on you simultaneously – physical pain, emotional pain, mental pain – so you better stay in between the lines of what is permissible so you can remain safe from all the possible suffering this world can summon.
We learn from our earliest memories that there are control systems like the Police and Military who enforce laws, as well as the relentless social judgement systems we inflict on each other to make sure everyone says and does similar things, and no one stands out as too much of a freak. Acceptance from the tribe and staying out of trouble from the authorities are prime motivating factors to keep us safe from the pain this world can rain down on you if you’re not careful, or if you try to be different.
So wear your seatbelt, pay your taxes, cross at the cross walks and don’t be too weird because there will be consequences.
But all that is a result of systems that humans have created and enforce amongst each other. None of it is based on any kind of “Universal Law” that governs creation or the expanded universe we also reside in, not just this planet. Religions on this planet have perpetuated the systems by creating piles of dogma that will tell you the laws of humanity are based on the laws of heaven as told by prophets and written in sacred books. But it’s all a creation of humans to generate systems so we can function together and evolve as a species. None of it is deeply sinister, but it is very limited in the ceiling it provides and it blocks the development of your own higher consciousness.
Even the more mystical and esoteric practices on this planet are laden with dogma from the years they have been practiced in certain ways within human society, all of which perpetuates a “human” flavor onto the teachings instead of a “universal” flavor based on Laws of Nature and the Universe that it once had in its original form.
So enter the concept of Sovereignty into the equation.
In a nutshell, you are a Sovereign Fractal of Source Consciousness who is not subservient to any other being, God, leader, ruler, king, societal rules or otherwise. You are the Universe Itself In Action, the divine spark of Creation as precious and powerful as any other being found anywhere.
Yes, you are in a limited form having a limited experience, but that is by design, not because you are the victim of unfair circumstances or random events that led to you being who you are here and now. And maybe you are facing extreme challenges in your life and pain of many descriptions as we all are, but that too is by design to challenge you and test your ability to work your way through to the other side. It might not feel like it all the time but you are made from the toughest material that exists anywhere – Source Consciousness itself.
That very fabric of your make-up is that most durable substance possible – the underlying Consciousness and Beingness of Everything. You as a human are a temporary expression, but underneath you are Eternal, and nothing can damage you in any way on the deeper levels of You. That’s what it’s like to be a fractal of Source Consciousness – nothing can really fuck with you in any way.
But that’s not the experience we are having down here on the day-to-day human level. It is a harsh reality, and we experience unpleasantness of amazing varieties. Its challenging to stay ahead of it all, to not just survive but thrive and our needs to be safe and happy and look after those we care about are universal amongst us all.
But we don’t have to consider ourselves subservient to others. We can navigate this crazy reality without giving our power over to other humans, or Gods that we pray to so they will make our lives better. Just because humans have made up rules that they want others to abide by doesn’t mean it’s just, or fair, or reasonable for you to submit to the whims of others.
As a sovereign being, you are responsible for being the captain of the ship of your unique existence, not anybody else. You always have choice as to how you will act and how you can manifest and shape your reality from the deeper levels of your operating system. No one else can take that from you, despite all the aggressive attempts beings inflict on each other to acquire power, control, and wealth.
This reality can still be a knife-fight in an alley at times, but it is you with the knife in your hands who can determine the outcome of the fight or choose not to fight at all in the first place. There are so many options and possible outcomes and no one else but you can determine those choices.
And with all that power comes the personal responsibility of caring for your existence and determining the experiences you have. If you stop blaming the world or others for your situation and take control of your life from a deeper level, it’s amazing how powerful you actually are and how much positive change you can make in your reality when you put your heart, mind and belief into the project.
Source Consciousness is bad-ass, and that’s you – a Universal bad-ass who is way more powerful and capable than this world has told you your whole life.
And that may be the energetic message that the thoroughbred racehorse named Sovereignty has come to tell us and show us by its own success winning one of the most prestigious races in the world.
Nothing is random, nothing is a coincidence. Messages from higher consciousness surround us personally and collectively, not just clocks reading uniform numbers. Deeper and more profound messaging is always reaching out to you, it’s just a matter of tuning your antenna in its direction instead of the wide spectrum of shitty messaging that constantly inundates us.
The world around us is shifting and people every day are waking up to the notion that they are way more powerful than they have been told. You have the power to shape your world in the way you want it shaped, you just have to step into your own authority, you own sovereignty.
And if you do, your odds for success are way better than 7-1. It’s a slam dunk.
